December 2016

December Reading Tower

December's Reading List!

This post is SO overdue!! Sorry.  In my last post, I mentioned that I had 15 books left to read this year in order to meet my Goodreads Goal for 2016! It’s a lot of books for one month so I decided to go with some shorter, faster reads. 15 books in 31 days is just about a book every 2 days so yeah.

December's Reading List!

I swear I’m going to read this book!   Love Ursula Le Guin!
A favorite author of my husbands.      A re-read for my son.
Mostly because it’s short.                     Because I love her!
Recommend by Roz, who I trust.        A shorter book on my shelf.
Borrowed from my friend Sarah.      A book I can’t seem to finish!
Recommended by my friend Beth.  Because I LOVED The Lovely Bones!
I’ve been wanting to read for awhile.  Recommended by Boho Berry Tribe members!
I didn’t realize was part of a series I haven’t read all of so trading this one for:
I’ve been wanting to read this for FOREVER!

I didn’t think it was necessary to create weekly goals like I did in November.  So I’m just going to update you once a week on how the reading is going or not going.  It’s 7 days into December and I’ve read 3 books so far! The Old Man and the Sea by Hemingway, The Word for World is Forest by Ursula Le Guin, and Night by Elie Wiesel.  I’m pretty happy with that progress.  I’ve started both ODY-C by Matt Fraction & Christian Ward and Committed Elizabeth Gilbert.  I’m hoping to finish ODY-C today in an effort to keep on track.

A wonderful person on Instagram reminded me that graphic novels are a great way to finish this challenge quickly!  I might switch some of the books out for a few graphic novels I have been saving to read.  I’ll let you know which ones when it happens!

What are you reading this month? Are you trying to hit a year-end goal?
